After going by means of a breakup, travel-loving songwriter Saya Grey determined to go on a highway journey in Japan. It was on that journey that she started writing the songs that grew to become her debut, full-length album, SAYA. (And certainly one of NPR’s most-anticipated albums of 2025.)
